Job Description

Nordstrom is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to handle transactions, provide support to customers, and ensure that the sales floor is presentable and well-stocked. The ideal candidate will have experience in a retail environment and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They should be friendly, organized, and reliable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who will take the initiative to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and assist customers with their purchases
  2. Process customer payments and handle cash/credit transactions
  3. Ensure sales floor is properly stocked and organized
  4. Answer questions and provide information about products and services
  5. Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers
  6. Assist in resolving customer complaints in a polite and professional manner
  7. Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on customer service initiatives
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  9. Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
  10. Adhere to all safety and security regulations
