- Assist customers in finding and selecting merchandise in the Women's Apparel department, providing recommendations and styling advice.
- Maintain knowledge of current fashion trends, brand offerings, and merchandise availability in order to effectively assist customers.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and gift card transactions.
- Keep the Women's Apparel department clean, organized, and visually appealing, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Actively seek out and participate in training and development opportunities to improve selling skills and product knowledge.
- Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to loss prevention, inventory control, and safety standards.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company updates, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
Knowledge Of Women's Fashion: A Successful Retail Salesperson At Nordstrom Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Current Women's Fashion Trends, Styles, And Brands. This Includes Knowledge Of Popular Designers, Fabrics, And Fits.
Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Customers, Coworkers, And Managers Is Crucial In A Retail Sales Position. This Includes Active Listening, Clear And Concise Speech, And The Ability To Adapt Communication Styles To Different Customers.
Sales Experience: Previous Experience In Retail Sales, Particularly In The Women's Apparel Industry, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Includes A Proven Track Record Of Meeting Sales Goals, Building Relationships With Customers, And Providing Exceptional Customer Service.
