As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store operates efficiently and effectively by managing staff schedules and ensuring appropriate coverage.   1. Create and maintain staff schedules for all departments within the store.
  2. Monitor and adjust schedules to ensure proper coverage at all times.
  3. Communicate schedule changes and updates to staff in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Collaborate with department managers to determine staffing needs and make necessary adjustments to schedules.
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding scheduling and time off requests.
  6. Keep track of employee availability and time off requests to ensure fair and equitable scheduling.
  7. Work closely with the HR department to onboard new staff and update schedules accordingly.
  8. Maintain accurate records of staff attendance and time-off requests.
  9. Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues.
  10. Monitor and track labor costs to ensure efficient and cost-effective staffing.
  11. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding scheduling inquiries and requests.
  12. Participate in team meetings to discuss scheduling and staffing needs.
  13. Stay updated on company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and make recommendations for improvements.
  14. Assist in training new employees on scheduling processes and procedures.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve scheduling processes and efficiency.
