
Senior Financial Analyst - Inventory

- Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain inventory management strategies to optimize product availability and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely inventory reporting.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for inventory-related initiatives and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory management processes.
- Monitor and analyze inventory costs and variances to ensure accuracy and identify areas for cost savings.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and terms for inventory purchases.
- Develop and maintain inventory forecasting models to aid in decision-making.
- Train and mentor junior analysts on inventory management processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to inventory management and make recommendations for implementation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
- Identify potential inventory risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on inventory performance and initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Analysis, Preferably In Inventory Management
Advanced Knowledge Of Financial Modeling And Forecasting Techniques
Strong Understanding Of Retail Inventory Processes And Systems, Preferably In A Multi-Channel Environment
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Financial Information To Senior Leadership.
