As a Senior Real Estate Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, negotiating, and securing prime real estate locations for our company across the country.   1. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential real estate locations for Nordstrom stores.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, brokers, and other real estate professionals to stay informed about potential real estate opportunities.
  3. Negotiate lease terms and conditions with property owners to secure prime locations for Nordstrom stores.
  4. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure properties meet Nordstrom's standards and requirements.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architecture and store design, to ensure the successful execution of real estate projects.
  6. Analyze financial data and forecasts to determine the profitability of potential real estate deals.
  7. Prepare and present real estate proposals and recommendations to senior management.
  8. Monitor and track real estate market trends and developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  9. Collaborate with legal counsel to review and negotiate lease agreements and other legal documents.
  10. Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts to stay updated on market trends and potential real estate opportunities.
  11. Stay updated on local zoning and building codes to ensure compliance with regulations.
  12. Manage and maintain all real estate records and documents accurately and efficiently.
  13. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the real estate team.
  14. Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to improve real estate processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Real Estate Experience: A Senior Real Estate Specialist At Nordstrom Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In The Real Estate Industry, With A Strong Background In Commercial Real Estate, Leasing, And Property Management.

  • Proven Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership Abilities, As The Senior Real Estate Specialist Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Real Estate Professionals And Leading Negotiations With Landlords And Developers.

  • Strategic Thinking: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills And Be Able To Develop And Execute Real Estate Strategies That Align With Nordstrom's Overall Business Goals.

  • Financial Acumen: A Senior Real Estate Specialist Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Financial And Accounting Principles As They Relate To Real Estate, Including Budgeting, Forecasting, And Financial Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: This Position Requires Effective Communication And Negotiation Skills, As The Senior Real Estate Specialist Will Be Responsible For Building Relationships With Landlords, Developers, And Other Stakeholders To Secure Favorable Real Estate Deals For Nordstrom.
