
Analyst, Alternative Investments
We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Analyst to join our Alternative Investments team at Northern Trust. Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong commitment to the financial services industry and a passion for alternative investments. The successful candidate must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and assess opportunities in the alternative investments space.The role of the Analyst, Alternative Investments will be to provide support to the team in the analysis and selection of alternative investments, as well as in the monitoring and reporting of investments. The Analyst will be instrumental in the evaluation of potential investments, as well as contributing to the development of the Alternative Investments strategic direction.The ideal candidate must possess a degree in finance, economics, or a related field, as well as a minimum of two years’ experience in the alternative investments industry. Candidates must have a sound understanding of financial analysis and be able to effectively communicate complex investment concepts. The successful candidate must also be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Alternative Investments team in the analysis and selection of investments.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investments.
- Monitor and report on investments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Alternative Investments strategic direction.
- Utilize financial analysis to effectively communicate complex investment concepts.
