- Develop and implement strategies and procedures to identify and mitigate potential cyber threats.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and other data sources to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Collaborate with other members of the Cyber Security team to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security solutions.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and assist in the development of risk mitigation plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats and trends, and provide recommendations for improving the company's security posture.
- Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure all systems and processes are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address any security gaps.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments on security-related matters.
- Participate in incident response and recovery efforts, including forensic investigations and root cause analysis.
- Keep accurate records of security incidents, remediation efforts, and any other relevant information.
- Continuously assess and improve the company's security posture through the implementation of new technologies and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and efficient response to security incidents.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to implement and maintain security solutions and services.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and guidance to other team members and departments on cyber security best practices and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cybersecurity Role, Preferably In The Financial Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Network Security, Risk Assessment, And Vulnerability Management.
Familiarity With Industry Standard Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, And Encryption.
Relevant Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Ceh Are Preferred.
