- Prepare and paint aircrafts according to company and industry standards.
- Inspect and assess aircrafts for any necessary repairs or touch-ups before beginning painting process.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired finish and ensure consistency across multiple aircrafts.
- Safely handle and operate painting equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to protect self and others from potential hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including properly storing and labeling paint materials.
- Communicate regularly with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary paint supplies as needed.
- Continuously monitor and assess the quality of the paint job to ensure it meets company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to ensure aircrafts are in top condition before painting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in aircraft painting techniques.
- Train and mentor new or less experienced aircraft painters.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and confidentiality.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to clients and other stakeholders.
- Be open to feedback and proactively seek ways to improve painting processes and techniques.
Knowledge And Experience With Aircraft Painting Techniques: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Aircraft Painting Techniques, Including Surface Preparation, Paint Mixing, And Application Methods.
Familiarity With Paint Materials And Safety Procedures: A Thorough Knowledge Of Paint Materials And Safety Procedures Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Types Of Paint, Proper Handling And Storage Procedures, And Safety Protocols To Prevent Accidents And Ensure Compliance With Safety Regulations.
