
Cybersecurity Computer Support Technician

- Monitor and maintain the security of our systems and networks to prevent cyber attacks and breaches.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cybersecurity, including malware, viruses, and other forms of cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to ensure our systems and networks are well-protected.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as IT and engineering, to implement security measures and protocols.
- Identify and report any security breaches or incidents and take immediate action to mitigate their impact.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees to educate them on cybersecurity best practices.
- Proactively identify and recommend improvements to our security systems and processes to enhance their effectiveness.
- Work with external vendors and partners to implement and manage security tools and technologies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of security incidents, procedures, and processes.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery efforts, as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity matters and provide guidance and support to other team members.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy guidelines to protect sensitive information.
- Continuously assess and improve our security posture to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cybersecurity Role, Preferably In A Support Or Technician Capacity
Knowledge Of Various Operating Systems, Network Security Protocols, And Cybersecurity Tools And Software
Familiarity With Industry Compliance Standards Such As Nist, Iso, And Hipaa
Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Analyze Complex Technical Issues And Provide Efficient Solutions.
