- Design and implement effective solutions to mitigate and prevent electromagnetic interference on Northrop Grumman's systems.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations related to electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential E3 risks and implement necessary changes to ensure system resilience.
- Perform testing and evaluation of systems to identify potential E3 vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of E3 testing, evaluations, and mitigation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in E3 technology and incorporate them into current and future system designs.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates, recommendations, and solutions related to E3.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on E3 considerations for new and existing systems.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for E3-related issues that arise during system testing and operations.
- Proactively identify potential risks and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance system resilience against E3 threats.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as applicable industry standards and regulations, while performing all job duties.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Physics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) In A Defense Or Aerospace Industry.
Strong Understanding Of E3 Principles And Techniques, Including Mil-Std-461 And Mil-Std-464.
Knowledge Of Rf And Electronic System Design And Testing.
Familiarity With Electromagnetic Compatibility (Emc) Testing And Mitigation Strategies.
