
Vehicle Management Systems Engineer / Principal Engineer

- Lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of vehicle management systems for advanced vehicles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Conduct research and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and innovation in vehicle management systems.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and budgets.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in vehicle management systems to incorporate the latest technologies into project designs.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and senior management.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and select components and materials for vehicle management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the design and development of systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during the development and testing phase.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in project reviews, presentations, and technical discussions with clients and partners.
- Maintain accurate documentation of designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate vehicle management systems into larger projects.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Vehicle Management Systems Engineering, Preferably In The Defense Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Vehicle Dynamics, Control Systems, And Sensor Integration.
Proven Experience Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams On Complex Projects.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Vehicle Management Systems, Such As Mil-Std-882 And Sae As6802.
