Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Physician – Hematology Oncology to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. This is a unique opportunity for a physician to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. The successful candidate will be compassionate, with strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high quality care.The Physician - Hematology Oncology will diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes, and spleen. They will provide medical oncology consultation and treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, for cancer patients, and will participate in clinical trials. They will provide care to patients in collaboration with other medical specialists, and will maintain accurate records and document patient care.The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of Hematology and Oncology and be board certified and eligible to practice medicine in the State of Illinois. Additionally, they will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes, and spleen
  2. Provide medical oncology consultation and treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, for cancer patients
  3. Participate in clinical trials
  4. Provide care to patients in collaboration with other medical specialists
  5. Maintain accurate records and document patient care
  6. Have experience in the field of Hematology and Oncology
  7. Be board certified and eligible to practice medicine in the State of Illinois
  8. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  10. Provide the highest quality of care to patients
