Job Description

At Northwestern Medicine, we are looking for an experienced Physician - Occupational Health to join our team. We strive to provide our patients with the highest quality of care and are looking for an individual who can help us continue to meet our standards. The successful candidate should be an experienced physician with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to excellence in patient care, and a passion for occupational health.The Physician - Occupational Health will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with work-related injuries and illnesses. This includes evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of work-related conditions, providing preventive care, and conducting preventive screenings. The Physician - Occupational Health will also work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans.Required Qualifications:• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois • Board Certified in Occupational Medicine • At least two years of experience in Occupational Medicine • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work within a team setting • Commitment to patient care excellence • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of current trends and evidence-based practice in Occupational Medicine • Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Computer proficiency in electronic health record systems

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with work-related injuries and illnesses, including evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of conditions • Provide preventive care and conduct preventive screenings • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers • Maintain licensure in the state of Illinois • Remain Board Certified in Occupational Medicine • Utilize current trends and evidence-based practice in Occupational Medicine • Effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare providers • Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Exhibit flexibility and work in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrate computer proficiency in electronic health record systems • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills • Maintain commitment to patient care excellence
