Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented Resource Coordinator-Exercise Physiologist to join Northwestern University's team! This individual will be responsible for overseeing the university's exercise physiology department and ensuring that all members of the team have the resources and support they need to be successful. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology or related field, as well as at least 2 years of experience in the field. They must also have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement exercise physiology programs for the university.
  2. Monitor the performance of the exercise physiology department and ensure that all team members are adequately supported.
  3. Create and maintain resource materials, including exercise regimens, diet plans, and other pertinent information.
  4. Lead team meetings and ensure that all members are aware of any changes or updates.
  5. Assist with recruitment and training of new exercise physiologists.
  6. Develop and monitor budgets for the exercise physiology department.
  7. Maintain and update records of all activities, including client progress, attendance, and related data.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with external organizations related to exercise physiology.
  9. Address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  10. Assist in resolving any conflicts or disputes between team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Exercise Physiology

  • Or A Related Field

  • Certified Exercise Physiologist (Cep) Credential From The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm) Or A Related Professional Organization

  • Knowledge Of Exercise Physiology Principles And Practices
