Job Description

  1. Provide exceptional medical care to patients with urologic cancer, utilizing the latest treatment techniques and technologies.
  2. Demonstrate a strong background and expertise in urologic oncology, including the ability to accurately diagnose and effectively treat various types of urologic cancer.
  3. Participate in groundbreaking research initiatives, including clinical trials, to advance the understanding and treatment of urologic cancer.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as surgeons, radiation oncologists, and pathologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  5. Serve as a mentor and role model for other physicians, residents, and medical students, sharing knowledge and expertise in urologic oncology.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients, including treatment plans, progress notes, and test results.
  7. Stay current with developments in the field of urologic oncology, attending conferences, seminars, and other educational opportunities.
  8. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and potential side effects.
  9. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, addressing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  10. Comply with all legal and ethical standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to medical protocols and guidelines.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
  12. Participate in departmental and institutional committees and initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and the delivery of care.
  13. Represent the institution and the department in a professional and positive manner at conferences, events, and in the community.
  14. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the health and well-being of patients and staff.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve clinical practice through self-reflection and feedback from patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
