1. Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as company standards.
2. Monitor and assess HSE performance and identify areas for improvement.
3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
4. Provide guidance and support to all levels of the organization on HSE matters.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HSE training programs.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and stay up-to-date on HSE regulations and best practices.
7. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
8. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
9. Review and assess contractor HSE performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
10. Develop and track key performance indicators to measure HSE performance and drive continuous improvement.
11. Serve as a subject matter expert on HSE matters and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
12. Prepare and present HSE reports and updates to senior management.
13. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HSE programs and initiatives.
14. Champion a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
15. Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders on HSE matters.
