- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in the field of neurology.
- Provide scientific support and education to KOLs and healthcare professionals on Novartis' neuroscience products.
- Develop and deliver scientific presentations and training programs to internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of latest developments and trends in the neuroscience field and provide insights to internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and commercialization of neuroscience products.
- Identify and engage with potential investigators for clinical trials and support the recruitment and retention of patients.
- Participate in medical and scientific conferences and congresses to present data and gather insights.
- Conduct scientific discussions with KOLs and healthcare professionals to gather feedback and provide updates on Novartis products.
- Act as a scientific resource for internal teams, providing guidance and support on medical inquiries and scientific data.
- Adhere to all compliance and regulatory guidelines in all interactions with stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and monitor the competitive landscape and provide insights to support strategic decision making.
- Represent Novartis at various events and forums to enhance the company's reputation and establish strong relationships with the medical community.
- Continuously develop and expand knowledge in the neuroscience field to support scientific discussions and provide valuable insights to internal teams.
- Contribute to the development of publications, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts, to support the communication of scientific data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of medical strategies and tactics.
- Demonstrate a passion for improving patient outcomes and contribute to the mission and values of Novartis.
Advanced Degree In Neuroscience Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Neuroscience Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For An Msl Position In The Neuroscience Department At Novartis. This Degree Should Be From An Accredited University And Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of The Field.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Neuroscience: A Successful Candidate For An Msl Role At Novartis Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Neuroscience, Including Current Trends, Research, And Treatment Options. This Knowledge Should Be Based On Both Academic And Practical Experience.
Strong Communication And Presentation Skills: As An Msl, You Will Be Responsible For Presenting Complex Scientific Information To Healthcare Professionals And Key Stakeholders. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills Are Essential For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Tailor Information Based On The Audience's Level Of Understanding And Needs.
Proven Experience In A Similar Role: Previous Experience As An Msl In The Neuroscience Field Is Highly Preferred By Novartis. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Effectively Communicate And Build Relationships With Key Stakeholders, As Well As Their Understanding Of The Pharmaceutical Industry And Its Regulations.
Ability To Work Independently And In A Team: An Msl At Novartis Is Expected To Work Independently While Also Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams.
