Checker/Cashier

Responsibilities of a Checker/Cashier at Nugget Markets:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and completed in a timely manner
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customers are satisfied with their shopping experience
• Assist customers with any questions or concerns they may have
• Process customer payments using cash, credit, debit, or other methods
• Ensure that all merchandise is properly scanned and priced
• Count and monitor the register drawer to ensure accurate cash balances
• Bag groceries and other items in accordance with customer preferences
• Maintain a neat and clean work area
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
