Nugget Markets is seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Courtesy Clerk to join our team! The ideal candidate for this role is a dependable and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Courtesy Clerk, you will provide courteous, efficient, and friendly service to our customers in the store. To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of general store operations, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to excellence. If you’re up to the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous retail/grocery experience preferred• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time

Responsibilities: • Provide courteous and efficient customer service • Responsible for stocking shelves and rotating merchandise • Ensure that store is clean and maintain shelves in an orderly manner • Assist customers with their inquiries or requests • Greet customers and provide assistance in locating items • Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately and efficiently • Answer the telephone and provide information or take messages • Follow safety and security policies and procedures • Follow store policies and procedures • Adhere to all sanitation and health regulations • Assist in other store duties as assigned
