We are looking for an enthusiastic CPU Compiler Intern to join the NVIDIA family and help our amazing team of software engineers develop the best GPU computing solutions in the world. As a CPU Compiler Intern, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing CPU compilation of NVIDIA’s CUDA-X library and related tools. We’re looking for someone who can bring creativity and passion to the table and help us continue to innovate and revolutionize the GPU computing space.The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is highly organized and has a strong interest in software engineering and C/C++ development. We’d also love to have someone with experience in compilers, compiler optimization, and assembly language. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CPU compilation of NVIDIA’s CUDA-X library and related tools.
- Ensure software engineering solutions are efficient and effective.
- Create and maintain documentation related to compilation and optimization processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Develop creative solutions to difficult software engineering challenges.
- Analyze code for potential performance improvements and develop optimization strategies.
- Research and stay up to date on the latest trends in software engineering.
- Troubleshoot and debug code as needed.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
