Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Data Center Engineer to join our team at NVIDIA. At NVIDIA, our mission is to accelerate the world’s transformation to a visual computing future. The Data Center Engineer will be a key contributor to helping us achieve this mission.The successful candidate will have a strong background in data center technologies and will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining NVIDIA’s data center infrastructure. They will be a problem solver who is able to anticipate, identify, and solve technical issues and be comfortable working with external vendors and partners.To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field and a minimum of five years’ experience working with data center technologies. You must also have experience in supporting and troubleshooting Linux servers, networking equipment, and storage systems. Responsibilities for Data Center Engineer:

  1. Design, deploy, and maintain NVIDIA’s data center infrastructure.
  2. Anticipate, identify, and solve technical issues.
  3. Work with external vendors and partners.
  4. Support and troubleshoot Linux servers, networking equipment, and storage systems.
  5. Develop and maintain software applications and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
  6. Monitor system performance and security.
  7. Provide technical support to other departments and team members.
  8. Implement best practices and automation for data center infrastructure.
  9. Research and recommend new data center technologies.
  10. Actively participate in industry events and conferences.
