
Senior Production Planner
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Production Planner to join NVIDIA's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a production planning role and will be a passionate and strategic thinker who can develop and implement production plans that meet the company's overall objectives.The Senior Production Planner will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of production activities to ensure customer requirements are met. This candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the production planning process.To be successful in this role, the Senior Production Planner should have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field, along with five or more years of experience in production planning and scheduling. In addition, the ideal candidate should possess advanced knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management principles, and forecasting techniques. Above all, the Senior Production Planner should be passionate about their work and have a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain production plans that meet the company's overall objectives.
- Monitor and track production activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the efficient and timely completion of production plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the purchasing team to ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
- Develop efficient plans for production scheduling based on customer requirements.
- Analyze production trends and adjust plans accordingly.
- Manage production staff and evaluate their performance against established goals.
- Utilize ERP systems to create and manage production plans.
- Apply forecasting techniques to predict inventory levels and customer demand.
- Monitor production costs and suggest cost-saving measures.
