  1. Oversee the preparation and review of NXP's global statutory financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality work and continuous improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors, tax authorities, and local finance teams, to facilitate efficient and effective statutory reporting processes.
  4. Stay informed of changes in accounting regulations and standards, and implement necessary updates to ensure compliance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including coordination with the corporate finance team for consolidation purposes.
  6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the statutory reporting process.
  7. Manage and monitor the statutory audit process, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.
  8. Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to resolve complex accounting issues and ensure proper accounting treatment.
  9. Prepare and present periodic reports and analysis on the status of global statutory reporting to senior management.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team to promote growth and career progression.
  11. Uphold NXP's core values of integrity, excellence, and collaboration in all aspects of the role.
  12. Support other ad hoc projects and initiatives related to statutory accounting as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Statutory Accounting, Preferably In A Global Company.

  • Strong Understanding Of Us Gaap And Ifrs Accounting Principles.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Working With Cross-Functional Teams In A Matrix Organization.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
