  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and make necessary repairs and adjustments.
  3. Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues, taking proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in equipment maintenance.
  7. Comply with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding equipment issues and maintenance activities.
  9. Participate in equipment installations and upgrades as needed.
  10. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  11. Provide training and support to other technicians as needed.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance, Including Troubleshooting And Repair Of Various Equipment Such As Etchers, Deposition Tools, And Metrology Instruments.

  • Experience In A Cleanroom Environment: Nxp Semiconductors Operates In A Highly Controlled Cleanroom Environment, So Candidates Should Have Experience Working In Similar Environments And Be Familiar With Cleanroom Protocols And Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Standards: As Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Can Involve Working With Hazardous Materials And High-Voltage Equipment, Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations.
