Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles And Theories Is Essential For A Product Engineer At Oakley. A Bachelor's Degree Or Higher In Engineering Or A Related Field Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Core Concepts And Skills Needed For The Job.

  • Experience In Product Development: An Ideal Candidate For An Engineer - Product Role At Oakley Would Have Previous Experience In Product Development, Preferably In The Consumer Goods Industry. This Would Include Experience In Designing, Prototyping, And Testing Products, As Well As Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes.

  • Proficiency In Cad Software: Oakley Relies Heavily On Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software For Product Development. As Such, A Product Engineer Should Have A Strong Command Of Cad Tools Such As Solidworks Or Autocad, And Be Able To Create Detailed And Accurate Designs For Prototypes And Production.

  • Knowledge Of Materials And Manufacturing Processes: In Order To Design And Develop High-Quality Products, A Product Engineer At Oakley Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Materials And Manufacturing Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Types Of Plastics, Metals, And Composites, As Well As Experience With Injection Molding, Machining, And Other Production Techniques.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: Product Development Can Be A Complex And Challenging Process, And An Engineer - Product At Oakley Should Possess Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues, As Well As The Creativity To Come Up With Innovative Solutions To Design And Production Challenges.
