Marketing Specialist

• Assists in implementing marketing programs to support OCTA services and programs targeting a range of diverse audiences. Uses a variety of tactics including advertising, events and promotions, email and social media. • Develops and executes event logistics plans for various outreach events and functions to increase public awareness of OCTA programs and services; develops event staffing plans, ensures all event and site requirements, licenses/permits, and accommodations are met as required • Assists project managers in creating, developing, and distributing marketing materials to support increased transit use. • Prepares, develops, and maintains a variety of records and reports. Maintains inventory of promotional items and related material as applicable to assignment. Prepares and makes presentations to various internal and external audiences and committees. • Gathers customer and public feedback and other data, prepares written reports summarizing the data. • Composes public information copy when needed; proofreads and edits. • Assures the quality of marketing collateral and timely production of materials within budget.
