Job Description

Oheb Shalom Congregation is eager to engage a our kindergarten - 7th grade students in art education around Jewish themes. We are a progressive and egalitarian Conservative Jewish community looking for an energetic and eager person to inspire the next generation of Jewish life. Engage groups of Jewish students in an art special approximately 1.5 - 3 hours each Sunday during the school year around Jewish themes. Build relationships with students and teachers in order to build a strong kehillah.

Oheb Shalom is a Conservative synagogue in South Orange, New Jersey. The congregation was founded in 1860 by a group of Bohemian Jews. Its 1884 Moorish Revival building, known as Prince Street Synagogue, in Newark, New Jersey is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
