
Credit & Collections Analyst

- Manage credit and collections process: Monitor and track customer accounts, conduct credit checks, and analyze creditworthiness to determine credit limits and terms.
- Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed and organized records of customer accounts, payments, and collections activities.
- Communicate with customers: Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding credit and collections inquiries, and proactively reach out to resolve any outstanding issues.
- Monitor and report on collection activities: Monitor and report on collection progress, aging accounts, and potential credit risks to management.
- Develop and implement credit policies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and improve efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to assess the financial health of customers and identify potential collection risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve any customer disputes and ensure timely collections.
- Identify process improvement opportunities: Continuously evaluate and improve credit and collections processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to credit and collections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Uphold company values: Represent the company's values and maintain a positive and professional image while interacting with customers and colleagues.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Credit And Collections, Preferably In A Corporate Or Large Organization Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Financial Analysis.
Familiarity With Credit And Collections Software And Systems Such As Oracle Financials Or Sap.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Handle Difficult Customer Interactions And Resolve Disputes Effectively.
