  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of complex medical equipment, including but not limited to diagnostic imaging systems, patient monitoring devices, and surgical equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and expert knowledge of biomedical engineering principles.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and safety of medical equipment.
  4. Conduct equipment inspections and calibrations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including detailed reports and documentation of equipment performance.
  6. Provide technical support and training to other biomedical technicians and hospital staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in biomedical technology and industry standards, and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
  8. Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to coordinate repairs, order parts, and ensure timely delivery of equipment.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when working with medical equipment, including following biohazard and infection control protocols.
  10. Collaborate with research and development teams to test and evaluate new medical equipment and provide feedback on its performance.
  11. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service calls as needed.
  12. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of medical equipment and make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies for medical equipment and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
  14. Mentor and train junior biomedical technicians, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  15. Uphold the company's values and maintain a professional demeanor at all times while representing the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Biomedical Equipment Technician Role, Preferably In A Large Corporate Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Medical Devices And Equipment, Including Maintenance, Troubleshooting, And Repair.

  • Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Standards In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Team Management Skills, With The Ability To Train And Mentor Junior Technicians.
