- Conduct comprehensive audiology evaluations to assess patients' hearing and balance.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patients' needs.
- Administer hearing screenings and provide education on hearing health and prevention.
- Perform various audiological procedures such as hearing aid fittings, cochlear implant evaluations, and auditory brainstem response testing.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide interdisciplinary care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date on current audiology research, techniques, and technologies to provide the highest level of care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and communication strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to audiology assistants and other support staff.
- Comply with organizational policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Represent the organization with a positive and professional attitude at all times.
A Doctor Of Audiology (Au.d.) Degree From An Accredited Program.
State Licensure As An Audiologist.
Certification From The American Board Of Audiology (Aba) Or American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).
Experience Working With Patients Of All Ages And A Variety Of Hearing Disorders.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Counsel Patients On Hearing Health And Treatment Options.
