  1. Conduct audiology assessments and evaluations for patients in a corporate setting.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  3. Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, treatment options, and hearing aid usage.
  4. Perform various audiology tests and procedures, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and impedance testing.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest audiology technology and research to provide the best possible care to patients.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice in audiology.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback to improve patient care.
  10. Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  11. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and respect patients' privacy at all times.
  13. Act as a patient advocate, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during treatment.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
  15. Attend meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in audiology.
  16. Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ordering supplies.
  17. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Orlando Health.
  18. Represent Orlando Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Audiology (Au.d.) Degree And Certification From The American Board Of Audiology (Aba) Is Required For This Position.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Must Be Licensed To Practice Audiology In The State Of Florida, And Must Maintain Their License Throughout Their Employment At Orlando Health.

  • Experience In Corporate Audiology: Previous Experience In A Corporate Audiology Setting Is Preferred, With A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In This Field.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Audiologists At Orlando Health Are Expected To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Colleagues, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Technological Proficiency: Candidates Should Be Proficient In Using Audiometric Equipment, Hearing Aid Technology, And Other Diagnostic Tools. Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records (Emrs) And Other Computer Software Is Also Required.
