  1. Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures under the direction of a licensed physician.
  2. Prepare and maintain sterile fields and monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures.
  3. Operate and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment and instrumentation.
  4. Administer medications and contrast agents as directed by a physician.
  5. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, assisting with positioning and providing emotional support.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, including patient information and equipment used.
  7. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve technical skills.
  10. Provide guidance and support to less experienced technicians and students.
  11. Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies for the cath lab.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  13. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance.
  14. Contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
  15. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and outcomes.
  16. Represent the organization in a positive manner at all times.
  17. Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Must Hold A Degree Or Certification In Cardiovascular Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

  • Proficient In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Cath Lab Equipment And Technology.

  • Ability To Accurately Interpret And Analyze Cardiac Diagnostic Tests And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
