1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of medical equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety for patient use.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with medical equipment, utilizing technical knowledge and problem solving skills.
3. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on medical equipment.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on medical equipment.
5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
6. Maintain an organized and clean work area, including storage of tools and equipment.
7. Stay up-to-date on new medical equipment and technologies, and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
8. Train and educate staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
9. Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers for ordering parts and supplies.
10. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance.
11. Prioritize and manage work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
13. Follow company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
14. Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
