- Build and maintain relationships with elite athletes and their teams, serving as the primary point of contact for all healthcare needs during their time at Orlando Health.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, procedures, and treatments for elite athletes, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for elite athletes.
- Serve as a liaison between the elite athletes and their teams, communicating any updates or changes to their healthcare plan and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and research in sports medicine to provide the most current and effective care for elite athletes.
- Attend sporting events and competitions to provide on-site support and assistance for any medical needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to promote Orlando Health's services and partnerships with elite athletes and their teams.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all communication and interactions with elite athletes and their teams.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the experience of elite athletes at Orlando Health.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain the utmost confidentiality when handling sensitive athlete information.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In The Sports Industry: A Successful Candidate For The Elite Athlete Liaison Position At Orlando Health Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Sports Industry And The Various Organizations And Governing Bodies Within It. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Sports, Athlete Management And Development, And Competition Regulations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Elite Athlete Liaison, The Candidate Will Be Required To Interact With A Wide Range Of Individuals, Including Athletes, Coaches, Team Managers, And Medical Staff. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships And Effectively Conveying Information To Different Stakeholders.
Experience Working With Elite Athletes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working With Elite Athletes, Either As A Coach, Trainer, Or In A Similar Role. This Will Provide Them With A Good Understanding Of The Unique Needs And Challenges Faced By Elite Athletes And How To Support Them In Achieving Their Goals.
Ability To Handle High-Pressure Situations: Elite Sports Can Be A High-Pressure Environment, And The Elite Athlete Liaison Will Be Required To Handle Difficult Situations With Poise And Professionalism. The Candidate Should Be Able To Remain Calm And Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
Organizational And Administrative Skills: The Elite Athlete Liaison Will Be Responsible For Managing Various Administrative Tasks, Such As Coordinating Athlete Schedules, Travel Arrangements, And Medical Appointments. Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail Are Vital For Ensuring That All Tasks Are Completed Efficiently And Accurately.
