Job Description

Welcome to Orlando Health! We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Executive Senior Director of Facilities Management. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our facilities, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with regulatory standards. We are looking for a driven and strategic leader who can effectively manage a large team and collaborate with various departments to ensure our facilities meet the needs of our patients and staff.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the management and maintenance of all Orlando Health facilities.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  3. Ensure that all facilities are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations and meet industry standards for safety and quality.
  4. Manage a large team of facility managers, technicians, and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and procurement, to develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and upgrades.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective facility maintenance and repairs.
  8. Develop and maintain emergency response plans for all facilities to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
  9. Monitor and track facility maintenance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in healthcare facilities management and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Act as a liaison between the facilities department and other departments within the organization to address any facility-related concerns and ensure smooth operations.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the facilities department and promote teamwork and professional development.
  13. Serve as a representative of Orlando Health in community and industry events related to facilities management.
  14. Handle any escalated issues or emergencies related to facilities management in a timely and effective manner.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Orlando Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Large Team Of Facilities Management Professionals.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Building Systems And Operations, Including Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Maintenance.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Strategic Plans For Facility Maintenance And Improvement.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Departments And Stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field, With At Least 10 Years Of Experience In A Senior Facilities Management Role.
