We are currently seeking a Front Office Assistant to join our Radiation Clinical Staff at our state-of-the-art facility. As a Front Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office and providing exceptional support to our clinical staff.   1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the Orlando Health Cancer Institute with warmth and professionalism.
  2. Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls, directing them to the appropriate clinical staff.
  3. Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  4. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including updating personal and medical information.
  5. Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary co-payments or payments from patients.
  6. Assist clinical staff with administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
  7. Coordinate with other departments within the institute to ensure seamless patient care.
  8. Address patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
  9. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  10. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry and organizational changes.
  12. Collaborate with the clinical staff to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of patients through the front office.
  13. Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  14. Strive to provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, making their experience at the institute as positive as possible.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities or duties as needed to support the overall functioning of the Orlando Health Cancer Institute.
