Job Description

Orlando Health is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Health Equity Program Coordinator.   1. Develop and implement health equity programs and initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  2. Conduct research and analysis to identify health disparities and determine effective strategies for addressing them.
  3. Create and maintain partnerships with community organizations and leaders to promote health equity and increase access to healthcare services.
  4. Plan and coordinate events, workshops, and educational programs to raise awareness and educate the community on health equity issues.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate health equity principles into existing programs and policies.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health equity programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for health equity initiatives and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in health equity and share knowledge with colleagues and community partners.
  9. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including community members, healthcare providers, and government agencies, to gather feedback and maintain relationships.
  10. Serve as a spokesperson for health equity initiatives and represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and events.
  11. Train and educate staff on health equity principles and ensure they are integrated into daily operations.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and distribute materials to promote health equity initiatives.
  13. Prepare reports and presentations on the progress and impact of health equity programs for leadership and other stakeholders.
  14. Maintain accurate records and data on health equity initiatives and use them to inform decision-making and measure success.
  15. Advocate for policy changes and systemic improvements that promote health equity and address health disparities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Health Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Program Coordination Or Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Health Disparities, Social Determinants Of Health, And Health Equity Principles.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Plan, Implement, And Evaluate Health Equity Programs.
