- Perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during surgical procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of the nervous system.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of the monitoring process.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to provide real-time updates and alerts regarding any changes in neurological function.
- Troubleshoot and respond to any technical issues with monitoring equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement appropriate interventions to maintain neurological function.
- Educate patients and their families on the purpose and process of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in intraoperative neurophysiology.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills to identify and respond to any changes in neurological function.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the surgical process.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and display empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Attend trainings and conferences to continuously enhance knowledge and skills in intraoperative neurophysiology.
Bachelor's Degree In Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Or Research Setting Working With Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (Ionm) Equipment.
Certification As A Certified Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring Technologist (Cnim) Or Equivalent Credential.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Neuroanatomy, Electrophysiology, And Neuromonitoring Techniques.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment.
