  1. Perform various laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Receive, label, and process patient samples with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functionality and availability for testing.
  4. Enter and manage data in laboratory information systems, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results.
  6. Follow established quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  7. Properly dispose of biohazard materials and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality in all aspects of job duties.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing training and educational opportunities.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
  14. Take responsibility for any errors or discrepancies in test results and work to resolve them in a timely and appropriate manner.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Environment.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Analyze Data.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biology Or Chemistry.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Protocols, Including Handling And Storing Samples, Operating Equipment, And Following Safety Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team And Communicate With Healthcare Professionals.
