As a Monitor Technician, you will play a crucial role in the monitoring and interpreting of patients' cardiac rhythms.   1. Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms accurately and promptly.
  2. Communicate any significant changes or abnormalities in patients' cardiac rhythms to the appropriate medical personnel.
  3. Document and maintain accurate records of patients' cardiac rhythms and any interventions taken.
  4. Ensure all monitoring equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or issues.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols to maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
  7. Stay updated on medical terminology and procedures to effectively communicate with other healthcare professionals.
  8. Monitor and alert medical staff to any potential emergencies or life-threatening situations.
  9. Assist with the placement and removal of cardiac monitoring devices.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and huddles.
  14. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  16. Display a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

  18. Demonstrate sensitivity and empathy towards patients and their families.
  19. Act as a resource for patients and their families regarding cardiac monitoring and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Completion Of An Accredited Cardiac Monitoring Program Or Certification In Cardiac Monitoring

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience As A Monitor Technician Or In A Related Healthcare Field

  • Knowledge Of Ekg Interpretation And Ability To Recognize Abnormal Cardiac Rhythms

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
