- Conduct nuclear medicine procedures using advanced technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
- Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new techniques in nuclear medicine.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance measures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing their concerns, explaining procedures, and maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Assist with the training and supervision of new nuclear medicine technologists.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory bodies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of nuclear medicine.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nuclear Med Tech In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Cnmt) Through The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Knowledge And Understanding Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.
