  1. Assess and diagnose patients with infectious diseases and develop individualized treatment plans.
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  3. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  4. Educate patients and their families about infectious diseases, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and communicate results to patients and physicians.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  9. Keep up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of infectious diseases.
  10. Act as a resource and mentor for other healthcare staff members.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with developing and implementing evidence-based practices.
  12. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families.
  13. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner License In The State Of Florida

  • Board Certification In Infectious Disease From A Recognized Accrediting Body

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In An Infectious Disease Setting

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Infectious Diseases, Including Diagnosis, Treatment, And Prevention Strategies

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Interdisciplinary Healthcare Teams And Patients.
