  1. Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of the Nurse Practitioner at Orlando Health is to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. This includes performing physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team: The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. This may include consulting with specialists, coordinating care, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds.
  3. Adhere to best practices and protocols: The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for following evidence-based practices and protocols in the care of patients. This includes staying up-to-date with current research and guidelines and incorporating them into daily practice.
  4. Educate patients and families: As a healthcare professional, the Nurse Practitioner will have the responsibility of educating patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, and self-management strategies. Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Nurse Practitioner.

  • Current State Licensure As A Registered Nurse And Advanced Practice Registered Nurse In The State Of Florida.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In An Inpatient Setting.

  • Certification As An Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Agacnp) Or Family Nurse Practitioner (Fnp) From A Recognized Accrediting Body.

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Skills In Managing Acute And Chronic Health Conditions, Including Critical Care, And The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Multidisciplinary Team.
