- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients with neurological injuries.
- Work closely with nurses and physicians to assist in patient care and treatment.
- Perform basic medical tasks, such as taking vital signs and administering medications, under the direction of a nurse or physician.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing team.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.

Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: A Valid Cna Certification Is Required For The Role Of Nursing Assistant - Neuro Trauma At Orlando Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Training And Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Provide Care For Patients In A Medical Setting.
Experience In Neurology And Trauma Care: Previous Experience In A Neurology Or Trauma Care Setting Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Handle Complex Medical Cases And Perform Tasks Specific To The Care Of Patients With Neurological Or Trauma-Related Conditions.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: As A Nursing Assistant In A Neuro Trauma Unit, It Is Essential To Have A Bls Certification. This Certification Indicates That The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills To Respond To Medical Emergencies And Provide Basic Life Support Measures In Critical Situations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Nursing Assistants Work Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Candidates For This Role Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With The Multidisciplinary Team.
