Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis.   1. Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with professional standards and facility protocols.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of difficulty and establish achievable goals.
  4. Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients.
  5. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  6. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve their daily functioning.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatment sessions and patient progress.
  8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  10. Continuously seek out opportunities for professional development and growth to enhance job performance and patient outcomes.
  11. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect towards patients and their families.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a positive and collaborative treatment experience.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their medical information.
  15. Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and continuing education to stay updated on current trends and best practices in occupational therapy.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current State License To Practice As An Occupational Therapist.

  • Knowledge Of Current Best Practices And Evidence-Based Treatment Methods In Occupational Therapy.

  • Ability To Work On A Prn (As Needed) Basis, With Flexibility To Cover Various Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays.
