  1. Oversee and manage a team of patient access representatives to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  2. Create and implement training programs for new and existing team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  3. Monitor team performance and provide feedback, coaching, and support to improve productivity and quality of service.
  4. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for patient access processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to identify and resolve issues related to patient access.
  6. Serve as a point of contact for patient inquiries or concerns, and escalate issues as needed.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient access activities, including data analysis and reporting.
  8. Stay informed about industry developments, trends, and best practices to continuously improve patient access services.
  9. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and professional growth.
  10. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance the patient experience.
  11. Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  12. Participate in meetings and trainings to stay informed about organizational updates and changes in policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies to increase patient satisfaction and retention.
  14. Adhere to all Orlando Health policies and procedures, as well as ethical standards.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role Within A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Access Or Registration.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Insurance Plans, Medical Terminology, And Billing Processes.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Handle Challenging Situations And Make Sound Decisions.
