  1. Accurately and efficiently collect, record, and maintain patient medication histories.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure the accuracy and completeness of medication histories.
  3. Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  4. Monitor and report any discrepancies or potential issues with medication histories to appropriate healthcare professionals.
  5. Utilize pharmacy software and technology to process and document medication histories.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Pharmacy Technician-Medication Hist Job At Orlando Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math, Science, And Communication Skills Required For The Job.

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Orlando Health Prefers Candidates With A Cpht Certification From An Accredited Organization Such As The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb). This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Skills In Pharmacy Operations, Medication Safety, And Patient Care.

  • Experience In Medication History Collection: Candidates With Prior Experience In Medication History Collection Will Be Given Preference. This Includes Knowledge Of Medication Reconciliation Processes, Ability To Identify Discrepancies, And Understanding Of Different Medication Classes And Their Uses.
