  1. Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall health and well-being.
  2. Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments, exercises, and techniques to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses, reduce pain, and improve their range of motion and mobility.
  3. Educate patients and their families on the importance of their treatment plans, as well as proper body mechanics and techniques for preventing future injuries.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  6. Continuously monitor and reassess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in physical therapy and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to patient care, privacy, and confidentiality.
  10. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  12. Serve as a positive and professional representative of Orlando Health and promote our mission of providing exceptional patient care and improving the health of our community.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Rehabilitation Center.

  • A Doctorate Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution.

  • State Licensure And Certification By The American Board Of Physical Therapy Specialties.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In A Variety Of Physical Therapy Techniques, Equipment, And Modalities For Treating A Diverse Patient Population.
