  1. Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  2. Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and create treatment plans for patients.
  3. Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
  4. Participate in patient education and provide support to patients and their families.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  7. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  8. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
  9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards at all times.
  10. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
  11. Monitor and manage patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  13. Remain current on advancements and developments in the field of surgery.
  14. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Physician Assistant In A Surgical Setting.

  • Proficiency In Surgical Procedures, Including Pre-Operative And Post-Operative Care.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Surgeons, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
