PICC Registered Nurse (Day Shift)

1. Insert and manage peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) for patients.
2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during PICC line insertion and management.
3. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
4. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient care.
5. Monitor and assess patient response to PICC line and make necessary adjustments.
6. Educate patients and their families on the purpose, care, and potential complications of PICC lines.
7. Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment during PICC line procedures.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
9. Keep up-to-date with current evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing education and training related to PICC lines.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
11. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
12. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
13. Display strong clinical skills and critical thinking in the management of PICC lines.
