
PICC Registered Nurse (Day Shift)

- Insert and manage peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) for patients.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during PICC line insertion and management.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient care.
- Monitor and assess patient response to PICC line and make necessary adjustments.
- Educate patients and their families on the purpose, care, and potential complications of PICC lines.
- Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment during PICC line procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
- Keep up-to-date with current evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing education and training related to PICC lines.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Display strong clinical skills and critical thinking in the management of PICC lines.
- Maintain a current RN license and certification in PICC line insertion.

Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Florida.
Completion Of A Picc Line Insertion Certification Program.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, With At Least 1 Year In A Picc Line Insertion Role.
Ability To Work Day Shift Hours, Including Weekends And Holidays As Needed.
Strong Knowledge Of Infection Control Practices And Ability To Maintain A Sterile Environment During Picc Line Insertion.
